Guys, if you tried this and still not charging because you wiggle the cable. You'll need to lower the 2 prongs inside the usb c slot (top or bottom). Over time, the prongs dont apply pressure to the port. So just push them down with a toothpick or something. (Non metal)

Can we get a video for fixing ports that children seem to "blow out" from shoving the chargers in and yanking out. I've bought my 5 year old four tablets in less than a year, all because the ports are no longer able to hold the charger, no lint or dirt. They will take a charge, but even with a brand new charging cord, I still have to "McGuyver" the port and charger to keep a connection. I am currently using a Gatorade lid to charge my son's less than month old Kindle. I home school, and tablets are used daily for schooling.

Rubber cement works better. It's pliable and won't crack. It dries in 10 minutes and you can wipe the excess off with your finger!!!

And when you do it the toothpaste makes it so smooth so you can't feel the crust no more

Well this only works just a little bit if you really look hard with a flashlight you will see the little outlines of cracks on it

If it is true, the 2-part epoxy is used to repair a screen that still works with the touch screen. Seal the crack so it doesn't break, but it's not a long-term thing. It's just so you can use it for a while when you buy the screen or another phone.

Sand the glass surface with 1000 grit sandpaper

You, Sir, are brilliant, this is the first video I’ve seen where someone actually REPAIRS the SCREEN not replaces it or fixes a screen protector! Bit late to this party but anyone else may find it useful if it’s not already in the comments, instead of hacking at it with the razor afterwards, you could just rub a cotton bud with nail polish remover over it 😊

I should get a sense of satisfaction out of learning to fix, maintain the machines I need on my rural home property, but I'm just damned tired of everything needing to be rigged up. I'm a solo grandmother, and care for grandkids, but no one has time or interest in helping out. It is difficult, but been here 12 years, from town. Dude change the name of the video, u r misleading everyone. U didn't tighten anything, u simply cleaned a bad electrical contact, the last time I checked, tightening something requires some kind of adjustment. If anything cleaning makes things looser than they were! U have just shown me something that is basic logic to me and has been since I 1st used portable devices with USB ports, thanks for wasting mine and everyone else's time!

Great video. My phone fell into the toilet three days ago. Although I retrieved and dried it immediately, I didn't open it up and remove the battery. I have tried to dry it out but there's no sign of life and all contacts are lost.

I cant even count the amount of reasons why 1. This doesn't work & 2. Why this could potentially make more problems. I mean seriously why wouldnyou introduce ANY form of liquid to the open cracks in your phone screen? ...i shouldn't have to explain why that is either, it should be pretty obvious.
